Topping off attic with more TruSoft Insulation for warmer home

Once batt insulation has been removed we air sealed all wire penetrations, top plate and recessed lights. Also added new durovent duel baffles after clearing soffits from debris. Our customer wanted R49 Cellulose for the attic.

The home was built in the late 1800's and had barely any insulation at all in the attic. The entire home was cold during the winter

Our homeowner was selling her home and the inspection showed suspected mold in the rim joists. We remediated the mold with MoldX2 products. They were able to pass final inspection for the sale of their home and very pleased we were able to complete so quickly. 

Our local realtor called due to his client's attic bring flagged for suspicious substance of a house he is purchasing. The mold was due to a lack of ventilation in the attic. Our company remediated the mold using Mold X2 and Botanical X2 Products. We also cleared all the soffit vents of debris and insulation and added all new DuroVent duel baffles for correct airflow in the is attic. This attic was cleaned and the new homeowners were happy to have completed before they moved in.
