Attic Insulation Before & After Photos

Most of us have been in a home at one point in our lives that the temperature and how comfortable you are depends on what room you're in!  Since you pay to heat and cool your home, it only makes sense you should be comfortable everywhere, not just the room the thermostat is in!  Our customer had an entire floor upstairs that was freezing in the winter and way too hot in the summer.  The customer already had attic floor insulation (as well as a type of flooring). TCI's solution? We utilized SilverGlo™ rigid foam within this knee wall for an added layer of insulation and radiant barrier.  This is a rigid foam board insulation, infused with graphite which enhances the insulation value by 24%.  This insulation is exclusive to Attic Systems Dealers and will now allow our customer to be comfortable in any part of their home, during any season!

Extremely under-insulated home. We brought the R-Value to nearly R60 which will dramatically reduce heat loss in the winter months. 

The homeowner explained that in his tri level home, the upstairs was always hot in the summer and cold in the winter. He bought a laser surface temperature gun and noticed that the ceiling temperature in certain areas were inconsistent and figured that's why he was having uncomfortable rooms upstairs.

After pulling out fiberglass batt that was short on R-Value, we blanketed this beautiful attic with TruSoft™ Cellulose Insulation.  This will help lower monthly utility bills as well as keeping temperatures consistent throughout the home. 

This customer wanted an upgrade!  After a new roof a few years prior, this customer had some blocked soffits and had some experience with mold as well.  Things vented in the attic were fixed, and now it was time for some air sealing and insulation.  The result? A 'breathing' attic with an R-Value of 60.  Our customer won't have to worry about mold again, and these simple improvements will save them on monthly utility bills for years to come!
